A big thanks for fundraising and donating for Ukraine!
Fundraising and humanitarian aid for Ukraine is slowing when their need is growing. Our help is their hope. Little by little, little becomes a lot.
We have committed to support 'Siobhan’s Trust' in Ukraine by fundraising for pizzas, as well as rugby balls, footballs, cuddly toys and sweets.
We have committed to help the volunteers at 'Poland Welcomes' in the abandoned school in Radymno by fundraising for food, clothing, toiletries and sanitary products along with colouring books and art products to engage the children.
We have committed to continue to support Joasia and the ladies at Platform 3 at Przemysl railway station as they hand welcome packs to newly arriving refugees.

A week after the war began in February Joe wrote to his Polish lawyer / army reservist / Scout cousin Zbyszek in Krakow, Poland, and asked him when and how help might be needed after the inevitable initial surge of support. A couple of weeks later he contacted Joe saying that the Polish Scout Association required help with fundraising and humanitarian aid and sent through a list of goods that were desperately needed at the border with Ukraine at Przemyśl.
In a matter of days transport was secured and the word was out; the support and kindness took off.
Joe then contacted three close friends based down south who all said yes to sharing the driving, supplying another vehicle and collecting goods. In ten days they were heading for the Polish / Ukraine border and so it began - little by little.
